Refund Policy

Most of what you buy on LabariX is digital and opens straight away, so we cannot usually take it back. But if something goes wrong, you are charged by mistake, or we fail to give you what you paid for, we will put it right. This policy explains when you get a refund and how to ask.
1. When you always get a refund
- You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.
- You paid but never got access, and we cannot fix it within 3 working days of you telling us.
- Content you paid for was removed before you could use it (for example a writer took down a story you rented the same day).
- We cannot print or deliver a printed book you ordered.
- We closed your account without a good reason (we refund any unused subscription time).
2. What each purchase is covered by

| Subscriptions | You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. A renewal you did not want can be refunded if you ask within 48 hours of the charge and have not read premium content or used the month's AI coins since. |
| Rentals, chapter and e-book purchases | Not refundable once opened. If you have not opened it, ask within 24 hours of buying. |
| AI coin packs | Unused coin packs can be refunded within 7 days of buying. Coins already spent are not refundable. If an AI job fails, its coins go back to your balance automatically. Monthly coins that come with a subscription are not refundable. |
| Tips | Tips go to the writer and are not refundable, except for a duplicate or mistaken charge reported within 7 days. |
| Printed books | Full refund if we cannot print or deliver. A pre-order can be cancelled for a full refund before printing starts. If your copy arrives damaged or misprinted, tell us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we will replace it or refund you. |
| Design and printing services | Full refund if you cancel before work starts. After work starts, we refund the part not yet done. Once you approve the final files or printing begins, it is not refundable, except for our own mistakes. |
3. How to ask for a refund
- Contact us at info@labarix.com or through the contact page.
- Give the email on your LabariX account, what you bought, the date, and the Paystack reference from your receipt if you have it.
- Tell us briefly what went wrong.
We reply within 2 working days and decide within 7 working days.
4. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back through Paystack to the card or account you paid with. Your bank usually shows the money within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank. If the original method cannot receive it, we will agree another way with you. Any access or coins from a refunded purchase are removed.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before asking your bank for a chargeback; we can usually fix things faster. If a payment is charged back, we may pause the account until it is settled, and remove the access or coins it paid for.

This policy does not take away any rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other Nigerian law. See also our Terms of Service.
