“Labari” means story in Hausa.
That is where our name comes from.
Why we exist
Great stories deserve to be found
Stories are more than words on a screen. They comfort us, teach us and connect us, and Africa has more of them than anywhere else. Too many never reach the people who would love them.
LabariX brings writers, readers and voice artists into one place. A story can start as a chapter on a phone, find readers across the continent, become an audiobook in a narrator's voice, and end up as a printed book on a shelf.
Our mission is simple: make storytelling accessible, collaborative and rewarding for everyone who takes part.
